Don’t waste your money: office clothes

(WHTM) — As millions of Americans head back to the office this year, it’s time to trade in your pajamas for some business attire, but there’s no need to break the bank.

You can find workwear at deep discounts if you know where to look.

Buying clothes from Goodwill can result in massive discounts without sacrificing quality. If a retail outfit costs $100, buying enough clothes for five days a week can cost upwards of $700. And that’s only for the first week.

Goodwill can offer designer clothes for both men and women that are priced in the same range as an average lunch. (as low as $7).

“At Goodwill, we have such a huge range of clothing available. Everything from business suits since we’re talking back to work, to little little black dresses,” said Sharon Hannon, Goodwill.

If Goodwill isn’t for you, head to a clothing consignment store to find designer brands at a third of the regular price.

“We can really supply the clothes, the handbag, the accessories, whatever you need to go out and look professional,” said Donna Spiegel, owner of consignment shop Snooty Fox.

Look for a Goodwill, Salvation Army, or St. Vincent De Paul store near you to find high-quality office wear at a fraction of the price.
